The Stitch is a transformational civic infrastructure investment needed to reconnect Downtown Atlanta. Once implemented, the Stitch will create approximately 14 acres of urban greenspace and transportation enhancements atop a new, 3⁄4-mile platform spanning the Downtown Connector between Ted Turner Drive and Piedmont Avenue.
The Stitch Community Design Workshop will feature project updates and gather feedback from community members on initial design, program, and policy ideas for the Stitch. Your input gathered at the workshop will be used to refine these initial ideas and develop a draft master plan for the Stitch.
The workshop is open to the public, and all members of the community are welcome. Specific activities for children and youth to understand their vision for the Stitch will be also be hosted during the workshop.
